QuestionHow compatible is this new generation of Chromecast with older versions of Google Home Mini speakers? Can they be grouped in the same media group? Can the Chromecast bluetooth pair with Google Home Mini speakers? If so, is there a noticeable audio delay?

- Answer Yes, Chromecast with Google TV is compatible to work with Google Home speakers and displays, including the first generation Google Home Minis. You can create an audio group for the devices using the Google Home app. Also, you can pair your Google Home Mini with Chromecast with Google TV via Bluetooth for playing your music, podcasts and more. We recommend unpairing and reconnecting the devices if you experience a delay.

QuestionCan this device turn on & off my Samsung smart TV at scheduled times AND automatically begin playing a preset video I recorded? So that I don’t need to attend to the TV or the Chromecast at all, other than programming it the first time.

- Answer No. It can’t be programmed to that out of the box. I would recommend a more specialized solution like a raspberry pi with software that can do this.
