“With the car off will it still record? Like if somebody hits it parked.”

• If you install it with the "hard wire" option it will record while the car is parked. If you just plug it in with the cable it came, it will just be off.

• Thank you for your question. The SC 220C does offer Parking Mode, but it requires a constant power source to record while the vehicle is turned off. Parking mode uses the built-in motion sensor and G-sensor to monitor your vehicle when it's parked. When parked, the dash cam enters a "sleeping" state, where it remains vigilant for any motion or impacts detected by the G-sensor. If either is triggered, the unit will wake up and start recording.
