Yes original key fob will still work also you must keep the original one as usual because if not the vehicle computer won’t detect it and the car would not go no we’re so that been said you now would have 2 key fob the compustart what it gives you is just more range in order for you to have all the features there's add ons and add ons like if you want the alarm you got to buy it and add it on the 2 way remote is just to turn it on if you get the drone and pay for the subscription then you can do it thru the app from anywhere if the vehicle is outside if is in a garage it won’t turn it on that was the reason why I bout mine to turn my truck on from my apartment so when I get to the garage is ready and nope dint work for me I’m disappointed with compustar expensive for nothing the only reason for keeping it is because bestbuy had a nice deal on it and the guys who installed it are very kool ppl dint want to put them thru the mission of going back to them to take it off

If your car comes with keyless entry, you still need your manufacturer’s key fob with you. Obviously, you do need your key fob if you have push to start to start your car. There are so many pros with this remote starter. One of which is the ability to use an app to remotely start and stop your engine. Another is lock and unlock your car. If you install the LTE module, with a subscription, you can pretty much do anything, like monitor your car’s location, temperature, alarm, battery condition, etc. The app can notify you of anything you ask it to monitor. The remote starter times the engine start for 15 minutes by default . The engine will shut off after 15 minutes or as soon as you enter the car. The remote control has some good tactile buttons and visual lights.
