The range of the remote is reasonable I've yet to have any issues w it. I purchased the drone service for 1 year during black Friday and it's pretty cool. The drone service allows you to track the vehicle, lock/unlock, turn vehicle on/off basically from anywhere using their app that's ridiculously simple to use. I have zero regrets getting this alarm system...it's actually much more then just an alarm system. It's an alarm, tracking device, remote start all in one. Definately get it!
