• This keyboard works with any computer that has a USB port. It does not have to be a gaming computer. Yes the colors will light up as well. Of course there is also an option to turn the colors off too.

• the keyboard will light up with the colors that you select, you need to download the keyboard software and select the color selection that you like the most, rainbow, pulse or a fixed color.

• Yes, itll light up as soon as you plug it in. Theres a key that says "FN" by the bottom alt key, if you hold that and hit any key from 1-+ itll change what the lights look like. You can either have it be a solid color, no light, 3 colors, or it can wave between the rainbow, its pretty awesome.
