it depends, if you hit them with a hammer, definitely yes.
It is very quiet unless you bang hard
It is much quieter than other corsair mechanical keyboards. I have 2 other k70's (one i have at the office) and this one is much more quiet. Its definitely still louder than a regular keyboard, but doesnt sound as loud as your typical mechanical keyboard.

Too loud will depend on who's using it, who else may hear it, how thick that door is, how much it bothers someone to have a mechanical keyboard, etc...
