Would this be considered a speed pad or control pad? null

Control pad, similar to the steel series qck+

The mouse glides fairly fast on it when compared to the other pad I have from a different company. Other than that I do not know.

I would consider this a control pad more than than a speed one. It definitely feels more stable and not slippery.

I say speed, its very smooth, my mouse glides across it, I had a razer control pad before and the pattern for that has very distinct bumps

This mouse pad feels pretty smooth. My mouse has no problems sliding around.

Its really smooth so I'd say its speed even though its cloth and not a hard surface which most speed pads are made of.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but if you use an optical mouse or a high end laser mouse, this pads sweet. The superfine texture is giving me much better accuracy than most casual game pads. I can actually crank my DPI to max without any noticeable loss of control or skipping. Hope this helps!
