Yes, this memory should work at 2666MT/s with your Dell OptiPlex for a total of 24GB of memory. It is unlikely at this lower speed, however you may find stability issues combining this Corsair kit with the stick that is already in your motherboard. If this is the case, I would recommend removing the original stick of memory and just sticking with the two Corsair sticks for a total of 16GB.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You will be able to use the corsair ram with your current ram, but it will only be able to run at 2666 Mhz (MT/s). It is highly recommended you only use ram divisible by 2 because of how it is designed. Using 3 ram sticks will slow your computer down, so either use 2 or 4. If you use 2 sticks, make sure to put it in the proper slots (usually slots 2 and 4) but it varies from motherboard to motherboard.
