Hi, Please return the incompatible kit and purchase only what's listed as tested compatible on your motherboard's manual/product page. If you have anything else we can help with, please reach out: support.corsair.com -Art
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When I bought this 3.2 ram, I went into the bios and it was only registering 2.6 so I had to over click it to 3.2. So I guess the point is even though it says 3.2 it doesn’t come out the box that way so you should be fine as long as your MoBo supports DDR4 Ram.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the motherboard will automatically adjust the ram speed to the 2.6 MHz rate on your motherboard. If you're asking if you can change the speed of the motherboard, no. This ram works on something called XMP, meant to help boost ram speeds. If your motherboard does not have XMP, your ram will stay locked on 2133 MHz, no matter the speed of the ram. Check your BIOS to see if you have XMP, and if you do not I would recommend returning this ram and buying 2600 MHz ram that does NOT have XMP.
