Yes. I use these when I am on web calls. When you want to mute the mic, press the button that is on the mouth piece. The headset voice says the mic is on and off.

When you use the on headset mic (which is excellent in a reassuring click feel and visual feedback with the light on the end of the Mic boom which is green when unmuted and red when muted). While its a hard mute, WebEx does respond by also showing your muted at the WebEx session level as well. Works incredibly well in both a wired (while charging and tied to your desk) and wireless seamlessly with confidence.

The nice thing about these is the mic will be red when you are muted and green when you are not with a little indicator ring on the end of the mic. Whether they mute the actual software of WebEx I doubt but it does mute the actual microphone.
