Yes it is usb-c. as for the dolby question, it doesnt work on my laptop if i use it wireless, but maybe it would if i connect it via usb c, i have an acer predator helios 300 2017 laptop

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it is USB-C. I do not know about the audio formats. So far I have just used it as plug and ply with my phone and PC through the USB-C cord. For the phone, I did have to use my own USB-C to USB-C cord as it did not come with one, it only cam with a USB-C to USB-A cord.
