I know that the headset can mute your voice over the mic, I have not looked for a way to mute sound to you. The knob on the left earpiece can lower volume to zero, but this is not like a mute button. The boom for the mic does lever up and out of the way. Overall I'm impressed with this headset. It can be recharging while in use, which was something new to me. The sound quality is wonderful, and the sound dampening from outside sources is good enough that very little gets through. Someone can still call your name and you can hear it, but if you don't like the person you can tune it out and blame it on the headset. I consider this a perfect balance for sound dampening! :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a mute button on the left side of the headset. I don't think you can use volume control to operate incoming and outgoing call. And yes, you can slide the mic all the way up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a mic mute button and below that the power button on the left ear cup. The mic is adjustable up/down; fore/aft. Volume adjustment is a rocker type button on the bottom of the left ear cup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can mute the microphone so that it functions as just a headset, and the microphone rotates up to the earpiece so that it is out of the way. Volume is usually controlled by whichever device you have the headset plugged into (I adjust mine through the sound output settings of my PS4 and laptop when I use them).
