You set the length of time desired up to 24 hours before you press the start button. A LED display shows the temperature and count down of the remaining time. You can override to shut down the unit manually if desired. When drying more than one batch, the unit will remember the previous setting. So all you have to do is press the start button to repeat the process.

Although overheating is rare, it will automatically shut down as a safety feature, and will no longer turn on. We hope this helps!
