Just got mine on Cyber Monday and it is the new version with the upgraded extruder.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The k1 i got had updated extruder (machined tensioner, blue ptfe clip, but not the latest white one) and an old extruder (black sock, uninsulated thermistor). The k1max had upgraded extruder and hotend (red sock).
