64gb ram is way more than enough for gaming in todays world, especially for ddr4. 3200mhz is the factory default for all ddr4 ram sticks, so just as long as your motherboard supports 3200mhz, it'll be a perfect speed for gaming. (keep in mind your other components like your gpu and cpu have things to do with gaming as well.)
Sorry, there was a problem. A better option to look into would be your CPU and Graphics card. Nvidia is typical, and a quick Google can give you a rating for the card. My GTX 1070 and RTX 3060 (about 2.5 times better) with 6GB VRAM handle a lot on max settings. CPU is very important too. For Intel, a lot of i7s are good enough, but you might get away with an i5 10000 series. Preferably high base clock (mine is 2.70 ghz) with good overclock (4 or higher) usually suffices. Unfortunately both of these are usually not changeable in most laptops, as they're soldered onto the motherboard. Check yours to be sure but might just be time to get a new laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I play Starfield and Halo Infinite on my laptop with an RTX 2070. Getting about 45 FPS on Starfield (average) on a 4K TV and Ultra settings. I'd say that RAM is definitely fast enough for gaming. 64GB is overkill but it's really good to have for multitasking.
