Then, remove the side panel to access the SSD slot. Insert the Crucial P3 Plus into the slot and secure it with the screw. Replace the side panel, plug the PS5 back in, and you'll be ready to format the new drive through the PS5 settings menu. 2. You'll need a USB flash drive that's at least eight gigabytes and formatted to FAT32 or exFAT. Make sure it's empty or back up any important files, as the BIOS update process will erase the drive

Yes. As far as I am aware, there is an m.2 slot within the PS5, but you would have to crack it open and use Youtube university.
