Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jimmy, We have used this type of coffee maker for over ten years and I just bought my second one a while back. We only use the metal filter and there is no metallic taste at all. The paper filters help keep the small coffee ground particles out but we do not use them.
