• If the UPS is charged, yes. But it will only last you so long, depending on the workload. I don't recommend taking it out of an office.. It's not weatherproof nor is it stable if moved around a lot!

• It could be, but there are better methods that are lighter. You can get Li-ion battery packs that will plug into your laptop to provide additional run time.

• It is heavier the the laptop and is defined for about 30 mins of run time so it is not practical to carry around. If you have car get a high voltage cigirate lighter adapter or purchase a small generator.
