• No, the UPS internal battery charger requires household 110volt AC current to function. Solar does not provide enough power.

• If your solar panel has a "Three prong grounded adapter" that the battery backup can plug N2 N order 2 attach 2 your solar panel, I see no reason why a solar panel can't B used 2 charge it. Most portable panels don't produce high voltage, so it may take some time 2 fill the battery. In any other case with other adapters, I would consult a licensed electrician.
