• Hello Kathy, We do not recommend the unit for use with a sump pump. The power drawn as the pump powers on will likely overload the unit and using with that sort of equipment would void the warranty. Thank you for submitting your question!

• You would have to look up the pumps model and check the running wattage of it. This model only supplies 900 watts of power, if the starting draw was too high for the UPS you could damage it or the pump.

• No it won’t the starting watts is too high you will need to buy a power inverter

• Technically yes it should work.... but the amount of electricity that the pump draws will determine the length of time that the pump will function. the more expensive ones will have bigger batteries hence a longer storage time.
