This unit can support a PC with an 850W power supply. The run time will depend on how much power is actually being used. There are run time charts available on our website to help estimate the time you can expect. Thank you for submitting your question!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the 1500VA can support an 850W power supply. Run time on battery for me is about 5 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes max. 850w PS, LED monitor, & router. Maybe my speakers too - is what I have connected at the moment. That's why I get 1500VA batter backups at a minimum. The run time all battery backup manufacturers advertise is probably for a tiny PC only - that is running in serious power saving mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will. How long depends on a lot of factors though. Your computer isnt generally pulling the max power your psu can supply, so you would really need to look at the other components in your system and consider how you expect it to be used at time of power loss. It will last a lot longer writing a document than gaming. If you use a site online to estimate the power consumption of your components, you can compare that to the table the manufacturer provides for this ups and get a rough time estimate
