Ill answer my own question. You need to install MSI Center and engage the LED lighting. It then can be controlled via software. this is for case fans off the Rainbow connection on the mother board. t It is possible to use the RGB on the 3080 too, that you will need EVGA Precision X1 ( as in my case) both sets of software can be DL from MSI website. As the generic answer to most of these questions goes : you equipment may vary, consult you particular Systems configuration. Side Note; If your Fans have a Large Triangle on it or an "A" they are.
