The AMD RX 480 video card has 5.7 BILLION transistors in the RX 480's GPU and it has 2,304 texture processors and 4 GB of GDDR5 video memory. There is no need to upgrade the RX 480 with motherboard ram since the card already has enough ram to handle 2,000 frames at 1920X1080 (roughly 2 MB per frame over 4,000 MB of video memory). The AMD RX 480 is superior to the GTX 1060 3GB and about equal to the GTX 1060 6GB except that the RX 480 has 2,304 texture processors and greater bandwidth while the GTX 1060 has 1,280 texture processors on just the 6GB version. When the game is particularly complex with beautiful, highly detailed colorful scenes in 3D, the game's programming should access additional cores on the FX-8350. Currently, the RX 480 is a very hot card with a lot of bang for the buck along with the FX-8350 capability to render very good frame rates with superior textures. Double RX 480's are 4K capable and they don't have to be exactly matched for crossfire, unlike Nvidia's SLI requirements. The motherbard chipset provides for 32 channels of separate video processing. This CyberPowerPC offering is a superb value and very competently constructed. The motherboard looks to be a product of Gigabyte and has several expansions available. The case has places for 4 SSD placements evident in the picture on the backside of the panel for the motherboard. Excellent, open, airy, modern case design. It would be difficult to buy the various components at this sale price. Then, it would have to be assembled!!!
