“The "Expansion" section lists 2 internal 2.5" and 2 internal 3.5" expansion bays. Is it possible to upgrade this PC to add an internal optical drive, such as a DVD-RW drive or a Blu-Ray drive? If so, is it also necessary/possible to upgrade the casing?”

Unfortunately this system does not include any space for an internal CD/DVD drive, however, you may purchase an external CD/DVD drive that uses a USB connection separately if needed.
