“How is the processor compared to an intel core i7 or i5? If i want to put a core i7 in it. Would it be compatible?”

Thanks for reaching out. The AMD FX-6300 is comparable to some intel CPUs, however the i7's give a better performance. Unfortunately, the motherboard may only support AM3+ sockets.
