Can I use it to play CDs in a car? null

You would literally have to get one and try it in your car. There are so many variables with car stereos I don’t know if anyone could 100% answer that question. This drive needs some kind of operating system to run and probably won’t do well with bumps.

This external USB-DVD drive works only with computers.
