Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your tv has a USB port somewhere on the tv I don't see why it wouldn't work. When a tv has a USB port its usually to plug in a flash drive, with that your tv should already have an option to be able to play/look at the media on the flash drive. My fiance and I did exactly that last night. we were trying to watch a movie we downloaded, but at first we were trying to screen mirror or cast it to the tv wirelessly. The picture ended up being all slow and lagging a bit. We didn't have a HDMI cable and noticed we did have a USB port, so thought about just plugging one of our phones to with a data transfer charging cable. but while looking for the cable found the flash drive and just did that way and worked way better than i expected. just plugged it in and went to media player and there it was. so plugging it the disk drive i think would work as well, just plug it in and go to media player. media player IS NOT AN INPUT CHANNEL. if there is a USB port on your tv there will be an area youll find the media player in.
