Please try again later.S Mode is MS's version of using Chrome: it provides added security by limiting the software that can be loaded to what is available in the Microsoft Store (and sometimes even some of those programs are shut out). It also locks out the Command Line interface. As a result, it is more secure and uses less power (because it doesn't constantly have to run virus checks), giving slightly better battery performance.
