DDR4 RAM with a speed designation of either 2666MT/s or 3200MT/s can be used. The next level would be DDR5, with speed of up to 8000.

Compare it to an automobile: most are produced with the intention of a certain amount of comfort, some luxuries, space, usability, and yes, speed, especially the most common task, which is commuting. On the other hand, a Formula V race car is designed with few of these features in mind, concentrating instead on speed.
