A:AnswerNo, you can't upgrade the processor on the Inspiron 7700. The i5 processor uses the FCBGA1440 socket which is a permanent attachment of the processor to the motherboard. As far as the gpu goes you can upgrade to the 1050ti or the 1060. Any bigger than that and you could run in to issues with power consumption.
A:AnswerI would recommend the computer. It’s no more bulky than an average laptop and the durability seems pretty average as well. I can’t speak for the battery life on the go because is my sons computer. But I haven’t heard any complaints from him or my husband who share the computer. They do use it for gaming/ like borderlands and gta etc.
