Yes, this computer lets you interface by touch pad or by touch screen or by wireless mouse. When I'm using my Bluetooth mouse I disable the touch pad so that my wrist or sleeve does not accidentally brush the pad. To do this go into Windows > settings > devices > touchpad and uncheck the box Enable touchpad while mouse is connected. By unchecking the box the touch pad will be disabled unless your mouse battery goes down or your mouse is unavailable. Then the pad will automatically activate.
