I was looking into replacing my 15.6 Dell since it was getting old and I wanted a 17” laptop and looking at Bestbuy’s ad I came upon Dells 17” Inspiron with Intel core 7 10th generation chip and with 512 MG solid state drive and 16GB of memory and since it’s a 2 in 1 it’s perfect as a touch pad you can flip the screen over and use it as a pad. It’s really thin and a great battery. The resolution is great since it has a GeForce video card the colors are really bright. I really recommend this 17” laptop and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks

I love it. The laptop is replacing a 2018 Dell I3 13” laptop. This 2020 DELL I7 7000 Gaming Computer 2-in-1. The speed is Smokin’! It’s great for gaming, photos, music, downloads...etc. One downside, hard drive isn’t large enough. It only has a 500 GB Solid State Drive. Get at least a 1 TB Drive.

A work in progress

I haven't had a new computer in 11 years so this Dell is a work in progress. I'm needing to relearn word and excel, etc. so I'm taking baby steps just now.
I have a 24" monitor where I process most of my work. But, when I hooked it up to the Dell-Insipiron, the real work horse became the work horse.
I had no idea that a laptop that converted to tablet form was going to be joy of my life. In some projects, it has cut the work time in half because I have that second screen for research, etc., while I write. I don't have to constantly flip back and forth on the internet.
My set up with my Dell and my monitor. It's absolutely perfect! I did have to buy a 4 port adapter, though.

I bought my Dell Inspiron 17.3 7000 2-in-1 Touch Screen laptop and I've been very happy with it. It's fast and accurate. My only complaint is Microsoft Win11 forces One Drive on me and I hate it. I'm working to eliminate it. Otherwise, a great laptop although a little heavy.

I have only had this for a week but its doing well so far
What I like:
-very fast
-powerful i7 processor, this thing packs a serious punch-no lag on my games i play
-high definition display
-can be used as a tablet as well as laptop
-very bright screen display if on full brightness
-mouse pad is like a touch pad; you can gently tap it and it clicks what is selected
-has touchscreen; don't use that feature but its very responsive when I tried it out
What I don't like
- finger print reader doesn't always work
-its pretty heavy; i do not move it around however
So far I absolutely love this. I own a MacBook pro and this blows it away hardware wise. The only think my mac has over it is maybe the display and battery life, but it is nowhere near as powerful.
I hope to get 5-6 years out of it, I take good care of my stuff and I always do updates when available

Good laptop but loud fan noise killed the deal

I wanted to like this laptop. I really did and I researched it thoroughly before selecting. It had a fast processor, good memory, rich sound, nice graphics, nice case, good reviews, and the large size I wanted as a desktop substitute. I also liked the 2 in 1 design. As soon as I plugged it in, though, I noticed a problem. The cooling fan was incredibly loud and it came off and on very frequently. There is no way I could have used the laptop in any type of group setting (classroom, business meeting, etc). It even “out-louded” movies playing on the very nice screen. I tried to tolerate it but just couldn’t. I returned the laptop and replaced it with a mostly identical but smaller (15.6”) HP Envy. Almost totally silent. I fell in love! Gotta say HP won this round, hands down.
BTW- I downsized because I wanted the 2 in 1 feature. The 17” Dell had that but was big and heavy and very cumbersome to use in any tablet configuration. If you really need a large screen get a regular 17” laptop with internal disc drive.

We bought the 13’ model and like everything except the keyboard lights. So we needed another laptop and got this 17”. It is much heavier but it is bigger. It has more memory and a larger hard drive. The keyboard has black letters on a silver key. Unfortunately, when you turn on the lights the letters become the same color as the keys and in the light you can’t see them. It does light up at night, but low light it makes it harder to see. The 13” had an i5 and this is an i7. It was super easy to set up, plug it in, turn it on and follow the prompts. We use Dell at work and laptops easily last 5 years so I’m expecting about that for this one. This is not something you want for portability, if you need that, go smaller. But if you don’t have to move it around much, the screen is large and has great clarity. The touchscreen works well, the track pad works well and it is fast. I’d buy it again!

This is the 4th laptop I got within 2 weeks (I returned the other ones, HP Envy x360 15" and MSI 17" gaming laptop) and I LOVE this Dell. I love having the big screen, I have added a second 1TB SSD drive and will be adding memory in the future when it is needed. I use this laptop all the time. The boot up time is super quick, within a few seconds. I would have liked to see a little better camera that works with Hello. When the keys are lit sometimes it is hard to see the lettering due to the glare from the screen when it is dark (the keys are silver and somewhat reflective).

What an upgrade!

My last computer was an older model Lenovo with about 8G of ram. It was good in a pinch, but slow to start and was unable to process multiple programs at once. So this computer feels lightening fast right out of the box. Startup was really easy, there were only a few OS updates a couple days after setting it up.
The screen looks really good. I like the larger size for some uncomplicated drawing programs I use as well as Netflix and other streaming services.
I agree with some of the other reviewers that the sound quality isn't great. But I think this has more to do with the physical speakers than the sound card; the audio is great with headphones, which I almost always use.
The backlight on the keyboard only lasts a few seconds. So if you're typing in the dark or low light, there's no way to turn the backlight on, you just need to press a key because it fades so fast.
This is the first computer that I've had with touchscreen and tablet functions. I've only used the tablet function a couple of times, and it works great but because the computer is a large size it takes some getting used to. The touchscreen seems a little less than accurate but I think there are some settings I need to adjust for this.
Overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

I am thrilled to have a laptop with 2 in 1 options. I can use it in my office or take with anywhere use a laptop. I enjoy the larger screen with touch screen capabilities. There are may new features to discover. Literally, everything has been upgrade.d My last computer Dell laptop but did not enjoy the smaller screen. My first Dell was a Windows 7 Desktop Touch- Screen. I was amazed back then at the performance and design, but my newest order is light years beyond. The increased memory is incredible. I am more than satisfied with the upgrade. I look forward to learning all the new features that will enhance all my daily activities on my new computer. I was more than pleased with the purchase cost of my new Dell from Best Buy. I really got the a great deal with great customer service included. I am a satisfied Best Buy customer and I will recommend Best Buy to all my family, friends, and colleagues. I recommend this sleek and powerful Dell-Inspiron 17.3 7000.

I’ve had this laptop for 2 years now. It worked really well with the programs I’ve needed: SketchUp & Adobe mainly. Didn’t really allow me to render tho & now I’m having issues running the current programs. It’s starting to continuously overheat. It’s done it’s job, but time to upgrade. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t require running programs, then a great laptop & nice huge screen. It is a kind of heavy though.

I am really happy I decided to go with the 17” screen. It is large and clear. I also love how The 2-in-1 feature allows it to fold back-that allows me to use a wireless mouse and keypad which makes doing my work much quicker. I am used to an ipad so I am grateful for the touch screen.
On the down side, the computer is quite heavy. It’s not really a problem for me as I don’t intend to travel with it so it only gets carried within my house. The other issue I had was with the fingerprint reader. I tried over and over and it probably worked 3 out of 100 tries. Finally I just gave up with it.....very disappointing.
Overall the computer works well with no real complaints so far.

I was looking for a MacBook Pro to replace an older one my wife uses. I was looking that and mentioned she likes larger screens because her eyesight isn’t so good anymore. This is half the price and a much better computer. She loves it. It’s very fast, has lots of storage, connects seamlessly with her iPhone and iPad, and the screen clarity just blows Apple away. Do not confuse this with the older, clumsy version. The GTX250 Is fast, the SSD is so fast you think you’re in RAM. Build quality is excellent, too. The only downside is BestBuy only caries one case for this, a cheap Samsonite, and they need something much better.

Windows 10 which pretty much ships with most PC's leaves much to be desired but the hardware is very good for the price. Fast i7 gen 10 processor, SSD hd, plenty of ram (16 gb as shipped) and an adequate video card makes this 17in screen laptop perfect for image editing and website designing. Photoshop runs smoothly as well as Dreamweaver and coding IDE's I use.

Nice laptop, but runs loud. I bought this to mainly do searches, watch videos, and occasional photoshop. The laptop runs really loud when using photoshop, but haven’t seen it slow down or lag. I also did a mass One Drive photo and video transfer, which worked beautifully. Again, loud,” fan, but it worked pretty fast without any hiccups. I transferred photos and videos from my phone from 2017, so a little over 3 years of files. That’s a lot. I love that it’s touch screen too.
One thing that bothers me is the computer shuts down by itself after a while. So if you’ve left tabs or files open that you want later, make sure to bookmark or save your information. Even if you put the computer to sleep, it will still shutdown, which is kind of annoying.
