We understand your concern. There are two option. First, an external USB CD/DVD drive need to be purchased and connected to this system to read/write CDs and DVDs. (Dell recomends DW316 model for this system). The other option is to transfer the file from the CD to a Flash driver or external memory card using the optical drive in a different system. Then, install it in this system.
