Hello Rosie! This laptop will run on a Windows 10 OS, so they have different operating systems. However, you will be able to connect your phone to your laptop through Dell Mobile Connect. If your iPad is data capable and running on its own data plan through your wireless provider, some of the same features in Dell Mobile Connect should be accessible. You will not be able to link them via iCloud, though. That is an apple specific software. You can always upload files, photos, etc into a Google Drive and access that via browser on your Dell device.
