• Yesm the fans would slow down to minimum speed when the system temperature is under check. This system has been checked throughly and any unusual noise is not detected during quality checks.

• I do NOT hear fans at all on my Dell Dolphin i7. I would call it very, very low noise. I think the 512G SSD hard drive helps keep any noise down. I've had the system about 3 weeks. It is quieter than the 4 office laptops.
