I was the one that ask this question and the answer did not come before I had to order the unit. So I thought I would try it out. The integrated graphics card will support the 3400x1440 monitor but only on the Display Port connection. The version of the HDMI connection is too low (likely 1.2) and will not drive the display. However, the Display Port connection seems to be at a 1.4 or higher and it does drive the display just fine at 60Hz.
