Yes, the height of the monitor stand could be adjusted by 110 mm. It supports upto 65 watt charging through the USB Type-C, for any compatible computer.

You can leave the leaf closed on your MacBook Pro. You may have to power it on manually, but it should connect with your monitor. It will also charge your MacBook too, eliminating the need to use the provided AC adaptor that came with your laptop. Hope this helps
