I use it for games and for the internet. After downloading the drivers for it, it has a even sharper picture. I am sure just from the short time I have owned it that it would be good for any type of work. I hope that this helps. It is not a touch screen as far as I know.

The visuals are sharp and text-based operations are a breeze. If you code, the one thing the monitor lacks is vertical orientation. I highly recommend this monitor!
