“How do you get the used espresso grinds out of the filter? When I try to hit the filter on the edge of the can that I use to store old grinds, the basket pops out with the grinds still stuck in the basket.”

• I normally use a small plastic or wood spoon or knife to scrape or loosen the grind into my collection can (great for my plants). Then I rinse the filter with water. I normally follow the manual’s recommendations for cleaning the filter when I’m done making coffee.
