Can I hook up a turntable to this? Do I need a preamp? null

You can absolutely hook up a turntable to this receiver via the phono hookups on the rear panel. You also do not need a pre-amp if using this receiver as it will handle the amplification internally. I am using an Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB-BK with two Sony bookshelf speakers and a Klipsch sub. Everything works and sounds great!
