Hello CB, thank you for your inquiry. The modern equivalent of the AVR-2808CI would be the AVR-X4800H receiver. However, if you do not need the extra channels of amplification and inputs provided by the 4800, the AVR-X2800H would be a suitable replacement and pair nicely with your speakers.
