Hello. The AVR-X2800H will be able to power both the Emit 50 and the Emit 30. There are higher-end AVRs or power amplifiers capable of increasing the performance of either pair. The most important thing is to get the right size speaker for your room. The Emit 30 is good for smaller rooms. The Emit 50 is happier in a medium-sized room, as it has more mass and therefore able to move more air to a fill a room of that size with sound. My suggestion is to consider the AVR-3800H, as it not only will have more grip with how either speaker is driven, but it will also come with pre-outs. Pre-outs provide an upgrade path for anyone wishing to add an optional external power amplifier to get even more performance out of their speakers.
