Hey there! The remote control provided for the DCD-900NE can also be used to control a Denon integrated amplifier (but not an AVR). If you want to control the volume and mute functions of a Denon integrated amplifier, simply press the AMP button at the top of the remote. In addition, there is an IR input/output located on the back of the unit for situations where the remote cannot reach the device. It's important to note that the provided remote is not a learning remote and cannot be programmed to operate other brands.
