• Yes, it is fully automatic, returning the stylus to the stand when the album side has ended. However, it goes into standby mode rather than turning off at that point. Unit must be unplugged to completely turn off.

• Yes, it is automatic, and the stylus returns to stand and table stops spinning. But the turntable doesn't fully turn off, you could hit the start button a day later and it would play the same record again.
