• This turntable does have a switchable preamp which will output a line level signal for your receiver's aux input. This allows you to plug the RCA plugs from the turntable directly into the aux inputs on your receiver. (The cord from your IPOD may not have female RCA plugs to plug the turntable's male plugs into - you could maybe find an adaptor, but this would only be desirable if your receiver has only a single aux input jack instead of left and right RCA input jacks.

• You would use an RCA cable (red and white) from the turntable to connect to the receiver. If the receiver has a discrete Phono input, then make sure the DP-300F's EQ is set to Off. If not, then make sure the turntable's EQ is set to On.
