As with most turntables, skipping a song can be done by hand (the headshell has a finger-lift, so it can be done with or without the cueing lever if you have a steady hand). What allows the DP-300F to qualify as a fully automatic turntable are the supported auto-start (at the touch of a button) and auto stop features.
