foot to foot is about 12.5 inches, but if the shelf is closed you need more room that that. There is a hinge on the back of the cover and that puts it from front of foot to back of hinge around 13.5 inches, you also need height so you can open it though. and then the front would stick out off the shelf as well. so altogether you need 15 inch height and 15 inch depth.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just measured it. From the back of the back foot to the front of the front foot is about 12.5 inches Considering the hinges on the back of the dust cover, I would say this would still fit on a 14 inch shelf.
