• yes you can but you would need an adapter for RCA Male to 3.5mm headphone jack.

• There is a cable coming out of the Denon, that is the RCA Jack Red/White, it is attached to the turntable (FYI). If you have a place to plug that into your speakers then that would work, but most likely you would need to have something else, they sell a go between, I don't remember the name now, that would would plug the speaker into and the turntable, basically it replaces having a receiver. I bought a converter cable that takes the red/white to an AUX in and plugged it into my Bose and love it. Seems to be a great turntable, I listen to it everyday. I have had it for several months now.
