Hello. The DP-400 has a switchable (on/off) in-built phono pre-amp. This means it can connect to any AVR with an analog input. If you favor the AVR's analog phono input, you will need to deactivate the DP-400's built-in phono pre-amp (there's a switch for this on the rear panel of the DP-400 labeled 'Equalizer').
