Q: QuestionCan I connect this to my Marants avr 40?
Asked by Audiophile.
- A:Answer Hello. The DP-400 has a switchable (on/off) in-built phono pre-amp. This means it can connect to any AVR with an analog input. If you favor the AVR's analog phono input, you will need to deactivate the DP-400's built-in phono pre-amp (there's a switch for this on the rear panel of the DP-400 labeled 'Equalizer').

Q: QuestionCan i get a regular Lid for this instead of this one?
Asked by RecordHead.
- A:Answer Hello. The DP-400 comes with only one lid type. If you prefer a different lid, you might find there are suitable universal after-market lids available as an option using an internet search engine.

Q: QuestionDoes the Turnable have input Wire Connector for using conventional speakers !
Asked by Ken.
- A:Answer Hello Ken. The DP-400 has it's own (selectable) phono pre-amp built-in, but as it does not have a built-in amplifier it can be connected using the supplied pair of 39" stereo RCA cables fed to either powered/active speakers, or an integrated amplifier and passive speakers.

Q: QuestionApparently most belt drive turntables, the belt needs to be changed when playing 78's. Is this the case for this turntable, or is there just a switch to change between 33, 45 & 78?
Asked by GiGi.
- A:Answer Hello GiGi. Good question. As a convenience measure, the DP-400 is equipped with a rotary dial on the front left of the plinth which offers settings for 33, 45, 78 rpm and 'off'. There is no need to do anything with the belt when changing the platter rotation speed.
